The chefs guide you in a thoughtful progression of flavours, textures, techniques, without you needing to navigate the menu or guess what to order. For first-time diners, the set menu is the clearest expression of who we are.

Set menus are more exciting for guests and chefs as they gives more freedom to respond to seasonal rhythms, take creative risks, develop deeper flavours, and showcase techniques that might otherwise not fit in traditional a la carte menu.
The Northern Rivers’ coast, rivers, farms, and weather patterns all influence what appears on the plate. We showcases both what’s at its peak today, as well as what’s been creatively preserved. Seasonality directly shapes over 60+ unique Pipit aged ferments as the backbone to our flavour, creativity and sustainability.
Set menus embrace seasonal dish changes (every 6-8 weeks or so) requiring constant creativity. No two menus are ever quite exactly the same, even for returning guests.

The set menu invites curiosity, discovery, adventure and allows guests to experience more of Pipit in one sitting. Rather than choosing 2 or 3 dishes, guests are introduced to a broader range of ingredients, techniques and flavours to surprise and delight
We love sharing unique local native ingredients, seafood, and tropical plants - and produce that maybe you might not have seen or tried before. Discover things like fragrant strawberry gum, zesty yuzu, striking panama berries that taste like popcorn.
Menus are built with balance and approachability in mind, while still reflecting the kitchen’s creativity and sense of place.

It’s ideal for sharing time reconnecting with friends and family, celebrating milestones, or simply slowing down together. No interruptions, no rushing, just good food, drinks and conversation.
We value quality over volume, and we don’t rush for fast table turns. With set menus, the table is yours for 2-3 hours for 6-8 courses
