Tweed Shire Sustainability Award 2025

We are proud to be finalists again in the TWEED SHIRE SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS

Our sustainable policy has openly been on our website since 2023, and some might say its too long … but the main reasoning is :

(A) COLLABORATIVE LEARNING
I think industry change will only come from more detailed sharing and collaborative learning - that is chefs/ venues/ businesses learning from each other.

(B) WIDER CONVERSATIONS
For years, food media requests mostly only asked us about (i) plastics and (ii) food waste - which is fine/valid but also felt that important topics (eg workplace culture, pricing, local sourcing and more) get missed. We certainly don’t have all the sustainability answers, but we want the conversations
