BEN DEVLIN

Having grown up in Byron Bay, Ben has always enjoyed a deep connection to the region, its people and producers. After 4 years at Paper Daisy in Cabarita, it was time to focus on fulfilling his ambition to open his own restaurant. Pipit is that restaurant.

 

ON THE MENU

Coastal dining to us means light, casual, and relaxed. Our menu will change frequently (sometimes daily) as we showcase the best available ingredients of our region. Choose your own adventure with our a-la-carte menu, or, let us choose for you with either 4 or 6 courses.

LOCAL FLAVOURS

We aim for bold, balanced flavours and hope to surprise you with things you might not have tried before or can only find in this part of the world. We think vegetables, fruits, and seafood are the stars in our region. Our climate, ocean, native plants and volcanic soils shape our landscape and our menu.

IN OUR KITCHEN

Cooking with fire requires careful attention and our open-plan kitchen is purposefully designed around a central charcoal pit. Aside from enriching flavours, using fire allows dishes to be prepared on just about every surface – whether it be on open flame, in the dry air above, buried below embers, or around the edges.
